What Info Do I Need to Set Up A Planting?
To get a Planting set up, we need following information regarding your site.
-Gate Width and Width of Access Path, this way we know how big of a tree can fit in your yard as well as what kinds of equipment can be used at your site. We prefer to let the machines do the work versus wear ourselves out.
-What’s Above the Path to the Planting Site? Trees typically don’t fold up very well to go into tight areas. So be mindful of roof lines, power lines, eaves, or other trees along the path from the street to the planting area.
-What Kind of Obstacles are along the path? Anything that prevents access like AC units, raised beds, or anything that can be damaged or blocks equipment from getting from the street to the planting area.
-How level is the site? Trees and equipment are akward on very steep slopes, the ability to get a tree to where you want it planted may limit the size of tree that can be planted. As you walk your site can easily walk it? As you walk up or down the slope do you need to steady yourself? Pictures always help capture this.
-Was a tree previously removed from the area or is nearby? The tree being gone isn’t much of the issue as it’s more what lies beneath. Stumps not ground deep enough to allow a new tree to planted there as well as areas with limited access for equipment
-Why does Job’s ask so many questions regarding the site? We use equipment as much as possible to protect our team’s health and safety.
