What to do in July for Gardening

-Celebrate the Fourth of July!

-If feeding with Fertilome Start N Grow, apply your second and final feeding for the year.

-Walk the yard to look for any bug, disease, or water problems.

-Adjust watering to compensate for hotter temps above 90.

-Continue feeding hanging baskets and annual planters as directed.

-Only work in the yard in the morning or evening.  Try to avoid working in the yard during the heat of the day.

-Remember to stay hydrated.

-Remove spent blooms on repeat bloomers.

-Remember to check on newly planted plants for adequate moisture. If in doubt did in the ground. More than you need to water them extra.

-Check the irrigation system for plugs or broken sprinklers.
