What to do in May for Gardening

-For Mid May begin control sprays on Apples, Pears and Cherries.

-Remember Mom for Mother's Day

-Feed annuals and hanging baskets with liquid fertilizers as directed on the label

-Remove spent flowers on Lilacs and other spring blooming plants.  This is also a good time to reduce their size down with pruning and still flowers next year.

-Pull, spray, or kill weeds to keep them at bay in the yard

-Adjust watering for warmer temperatures.
