Plants of the Week for March 23rd
Georgia Peach Coralbells is a great foliage interest for garden beds with afternoon shade. The peachy colors really pops in contrast with Hostas and Rhodies.
Leonard Messel Magnolia is a tall growing shrub that reaches about 20 foot tall. It flowers in late March with these pink lily like flowers. Can handle full sun but doesn’t care to be relentlessly buffeted by southwest winds.
Diana Clare Lungwort has striking blue flowers in Mid to late March. It prefers afternoon shade but brightens those spots with it’s mostly white foliage. Does well with Hydrangeas.
