Will the November 5, 2017 early snow hurt my plants?

No, this early snow won't damage plants, it will actually be a benefit by providing moisture to them.  What can damage a plant is a drastic decline in temperature that is out of the blue, when they haven't hardened off or acclimated to cold temps.  Like being in the sixties and then the temps dive into the teens.  The snow may be out of the norm but the temps are in line for an average early November, so the plants have been used to it.
