In the early 1980s Norbert Job created a logo for the nursery to help guide customers to the nursery after the move. It consisted of 3 trees surrounded by a band with four breaks in it. His friend, Phil, looked at it and gave it the meaning that has carried with the logo for the Job Family. The trees represent the number of Jobs involved with the nursery, while the breaks in the band are the number of decades the nursery has been open. At the time it represented 3 generations and 4 decades.
As the nursery continued through the decades breaks to the band where added and design changes were made. In 1998, Kathy Job updated the trees to be more realistic in shape. 2003 brought a fourth tree to show in the involvement of a fourth generation (Alex and Arthur). Then in 2021, Alex proposed the break in the bands represent 20 years of business because their wasn’t going to be much of band left if the nursery continued past 100 years. The family agreed to the change and so the current logo on the website has four trees and 4 breaks. We will see how the logo evolves as time continues to go by.
